Structural challenges within the walls along with bar service surrounding the stage pushed us to a suspension solution for the EAW SBK250 subwoofers. The overhead speakers throughout the casino are divided into zones based on distance from the stage. The digital processing for these zones has incremental delays which automatically engage when the stage audio is selected as the source, allowing the overhead system to blend with the stage system at any location on the gaming floor without the acoustic latency problems typically associated with this type of distribution. Audio from the stage is fed from an auxiliary buss allowing the engineer to create a mix for the gaming floor separately from the stage reinforcement mix.
